Tina: I'm seriously desperate at this point. I want to get married and have kids so bad, but I'm can't seem to meet a man with the same values or interests. It sucks because I believe there are great men out there- I just can't seem to find one! WTF
Chelsea: All of my girlfriends have boyfriends, but I'm the player type. I just want to have fun without anything serious attached. I only seem to attract men who want to marry me. Geeze! Where are the men who just want to have fun located?
Kate: Dating is tricky. We live in a time where men think they can do and say whatever they want because of this new movement they have going on. They hate that women are standing up for themselves, so they want to be bitter about it. I've met so many men ( Red Necks ) that have no clue about consent or boundaries. They're giving the country boys a bad name.
Vanessa: Honestly, men are finding other men who agree with their hatred towards women and they're pushing it on women who may be great partners. It happened to me. I went on a date with a guy who started to become passive-aggressive about women's rights and if I consented to him opening the door for me, only because he didn't want to end up in jail. What the fuck? It's called being a gentleman, not a predator! Just because some women pissed you off doesn't mean you get to take it out on the rest of us!
Hanna: I started dating this guy I met at work. At first, he was charming and respectful, then we started talking about what's been happening in our world. The topic of 'Gun Control' is what did it for me. You'd think that after a couple of months of dating, I would've seen his true colors before now, but I didn't. I'm a huge supporter of owning a gun for protection. I don't agree with how the laws aren't strict enough in certain states, we can see what happens daily in those places. Long story short, he started telling me, "Women don't understand anything because of the ( Me too ) movement and that pissed me off! What does that have to do with protecting us all? It could've been his family in the movie theater that day, or even himself. I've come across many assholes in my life, but never like him!
Jamie: The dating scene right now for women who like women ( Lesbians ) isn't as bad as some may think. There are so many places to meet women, I enjoy it. I'm only looking to have fun- I find women like that more and more as the year goes by because it's hard to trust anyone anymore. Some people think that being lesbian is the best thing since sliced bread but it's not. Women cheat and lie too!
Monica: I started dating this guy a few years ago and didn't know he was cheating on me. Come to find out, he was cheating with a man and that did it. In 2022, I don't see myself dating again. That entire experience turned me off from dating anyone!
Janice: During 2020- just like many other people- I found that my husband wasn't who I thought he was during our 5 years of being married. We noticed a change in each other's behavior during the lockdown. Between my frustration over bills and money, along with his love for the president- I couldn't do it anymore. He turned into someone I didn't know and I'm glad I left that marriage. I'm now happier and free. Thank god we didn't have kids! I'd hate to see him anymore.
Ta'Meeka: A lot of black men are obsessed with the gangster lifestyle and that's a turn-off for me. I want someone with values and morals. Someone who matches me in more ways than one. I've been thinking of dating outside of my race for years now. I find a lot of Asian and White men have the same values and interests as I do. I'm just nervous about the backlash that I'd get from black men. It's weird because they date white women all the time, but if we date a white man, we're the devil and only in it for the money.
Cashmere: I can't seem to even find men to date right now. I laugh but it's true. The men I see every day in my city are boring and old. Maybe I'll join an online dating site or something.
