Endometriosis and Uterine fibroids
Affecting women and girls from the time they start their period. It's a painful experience that attacks before, during, and right after your monthly cycle. Many women and girls don't experience any pain or signs until later while others oftentimes don't feel anything, ever. Over the last 20 years, many more women are speaking out about this health battle. Having endometriosis can cause many issues for a women's reproductive system. Those include but are not limited to: Painful cyclesInfertility, Issues, Heavy Bleeding.
What is Endometriousis?
A condition that affects the uterus. The skin inside of the uterus starts to grow outside of it. It can grow on the ovaries, bladder, bowels, or even behind the uterus. Suggestions: Bleeding during your cycle is normal. It's always important to check with your doctor and ask questions about anything kind of bleeding you may be having. Some women and girls have heavy to light periods and they can all be normal for each body. Having pain? Light pain can be a normal side effect of having a period. BUT, too much pain to the point where it's causing you to stay in bed all day, you can't move or function normally- you should speak to a doctor and mention all of your symptoms. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion.
Uterine fibroids:
Are noncancerous tumors made of muscle cells and other tissues that grow in and around the wall of the uterus, or womb. The cause of this condition is well known, but the risk factors include Family history and obesity.
Symptoms: Heavy or painful periods or bleeding between periods.
Feeling “full” in the lower abdomen.
Urinating often.Pain during sex.
Lower back pain.
Reproductive problems, such as infertility, multiple miscarriages, or early labor.
